Q: I have a problem with my Seagate Baracuda 1 TB 6.0 sata 7200rpm internal hard drive. I bought it new and everything worked fine, then 2 weeks later it suddenly stopped working out of the blue while playing music. Upon inspection, the music files were missing from the hard drive and were not showing up on my computer. The drive now makes a ticking noise occasionally but is still spinning as far as I know. Can you help?

A: This sounds like a relatively standard Seagate hard drive failure. The lack of physical damage indicates that your hard drive has suffered some form of logical failure. Our engineers are very familiar with Seagate Baracuda models and will most certainly be able to restore your hard drive and recover any lost data.
