Q: I plugged a 16GB USB stick into my MacBook and then nudged it sideways with my arm. I received an error message saying that the stick hadn’t ejected properly. I then took it out and plugged it back in again a few times but I couldn’t access any of my files in the USB stick. I then tried it in my PC and it also wouldn’t let me access the files saved. Can you help?

A: Absolutely. Due to the small and portable nature of USB sticks, they are sometimes easy to accidentally damage. We deal with this kind of problem on a regular basis and our engineers are adept at performing data recovery on USB devices.
